How It Works

Laser cleaning (or ablation) involves using a carefully focussed beam of infrared light to remove a surface contaminant.

Selective cleaning
In order to achieve this, we take into account the ablation threshold of your contaminant and substrate and tailor our laser parameters to ensure a clean lift.

Finished product
The pulsed light vaporises only the selected layer, maintaining the quality of the substrate below.

Safety
Infrared light is not on the visible spectrum, meaning that it is invisible to the human eye. Laser light can be highly damaging; for this reason we maintain strict safety protocols by use of screens, signage and safety eyewear.
